THE TEAM
Our friendly Kwandwe team
Angus & Tracy
To say that Angus and Tracy Sholto-Douglas love Kwandwe would be an understatement. The resident Directors have been on the property since its inception and truly live, eat, sleep and love this wild haven.
Tracy and Angus live at the wildlife management hub of Krantzdrift on Kwandwe. Angus looks after the development of the property from an agricultural and wildlife perspective, including wildlife management and overall day-to-day running of the game reserve. Tracy has overseen the construction of the lodges, applies her skills to the decor and interiors, and plays a significant role in maintaining the exceptional standards and daily logistics of these properties.
Wildlife is in this dynamic couple’s blood. Angus and Tracy met while working in the Sabi Sands, near the Kruger National Park, and then moved to run a concession and four camps in the Linyanti area of Northern Botswana. Their journey came full circle when they joined forces with Carl DeSantis and Erika Stewart to develop Kwandwe Private Game Reserve. Passionate about conservation, sustainability and the future of Kwandwe, they have raised their two sons with the same ethics and passion that they share daily with the diverse team at Kwandwe.
