Kim has over 25 years of experience in yoga and wellness, both as a practitioner and teacher. She trained in India, earning certifications as a yoga trainer (200 hours) and Ayurvedic therapist (100 hours). A certified Ayurvedic counsellor, Kim studied under Laura Plumb and in Rishikesh, India, while continually expanding her knowledge. She is also trained in functional and therapeutic breathwork with Dr. Ela Magna and is qualified in Pilates and functional movement.
Kim lives with her husband on their eighth-generation family farm in Bedford, Eastern Cape, South Africa. With her children now independent, she travels widely, leading retreats, workshops, and training programs. Passionate about food as medicine, she offers seasonal cookery classes focused on health through vegetables and herbs and is dedicated to organic gardening in harmony with nature’s rhythms.
Her work emphasises disease prevention and empowering others to activate their innate healing potential. Kim’s personal motto is, “The power is in the pause.”
